New Requests for INT Drivers

The INT League is a volunteer based organization; we depend on volunteers and our tour team to help us host INT events. Those of you who have offered to help out, thank you for offering your time and energy to be a part of the INT team. We especially appreciate our  drivers who volunteer their time to provide quality pulls to INT participants.

Due to new insurance, WWA requests that all drivers successfully complete a NASBLA approved boating safety course.  Boating safety courses are being required in most states now, and driver training is typical for most event sanctioning organizations.  Training improves event safety and also keeps event insurance costs at an affordable rate.

WWA/INT have partnered with iDrive Boats, a course accepted by NASBLA and is US Coast Guard approved, with special discounts for its members. All drivers must have proof of completion of a NABLA approved boater education course. However the iDrive Boats course is not currently accepted by the sate of Oregon, Washington, and Connecticut. WWA will accept any NASBLA approved course, please send proof of completion to your INT State Coordinator.  Sanctioning cannot be processed without proof of completion.

This Drivers Program is designed to teach boat drivers, beginner through advanced, to safely operate a towboat while towing a skier or rider. The major emphasis of this program is safety consciousness at all times, and upon completion of the program, the Driver will have the knowledge and skills to implement all necessary precautions to safely tow a skier or rider.  Remember that a class can never replace time behind the wheel and experience.
