IMPORTANT UPDATE ON STOP 3:

WE WILL NOT BE HAVING A TOURNAMENT ON AUGUST 28TH.

We’ve been trying to secure a venue for August 28th and had a couple of good leads, but there is a conflict at Lake Arrowhead that weekend, and the other locations were unavailable for wakeboarding events.

We’ll post an update and pictures from August 14th later this week.

In the meantime, THANKS to everyone who volunteered and participated. We really enjoyed it and look forward to seeing all of you again next year. Remember, all first and second place winners will be invited to the National Championshipes to be held at Sunset Lakes outside of Orlando in October. Hope to see you there!

Stop 2: Lake Arrowhead Waleska, GA

Date: August 14, 2010

Registration opens: 8:00 a.m.

Wakeboarding begins: 9:00 a.m.

The Lake Arrowhead community is hosting stop 2 of the Georgia championship. Come join us for a two round event and a great time at this beautiful community nestled in the Georgia mountains. Also, the community chapel will be on hand grilling hamburgers and hot dogs as a fundraiser for their children’s mission.

Lake acworth recap

INT in Georgia got off to a great start at Lake Acworth today, great riding and great fun was had by all. Even though the heat index was well above the 100 degree mark it didn’t seem to stop anybody from having a good time. Sadly our second round was cut short because of some very high winds, frequent lightning and a very potent thunderstorm. We will calculate the final scores and post the results on Sunday. If you are going to be at the Lake Arrowhead event on the 14th of August we will present the awards there, if you are unable to attend we will make other arrangements to get the awards to you.

We would like to thank all of the participants, volunteers and their families for coming out and making the event a huge success. Also we’d like to thank all of the riders and volunteers who helped us pack up with the storm brewing overhead. Finally, this event wouldn’t have been possible without the help of WaterSports Central and their brand new MasterCraft tow boats.

One final note – one of our waterskiers misplaced his ski handle, if anyone finds an extra handle please let us know.

Also I would love to say that we could run the tournaments by ourselves but it is impossible. Without all of the volunteers involved a tournament like this could not happen. If anyone is interested in helping out at the events please contact us. We will need qualified boat drivers, judges, announcers, dock starters, help with set up and tear down, and more. All help will be appreciated.

INT at the Masters

INT is proud to be part of the 51st Masters Tournament at beautiful Callaway Gardens. We want to give a special thanks to Correct Craft, maker of Nautique ski and wakeboard boats for allowing us to participate in this fabulous event.
