2007 INT US Championships

Twelve Georgia state champions made the journey to Zachary, Louisiana to compete in the 10th annual INT US Championships.  Three Georgia competitors reached the podium at the USC!  Not bad for a first year state!   Those reaching the podium from Georgia were:

• Calvin Miller placed 2nd in Wake Skate

• Theresa Anderson placed 2nd in Women’s Novice WB

• Johnny Tobaben placed 3rd in Outlaw WB

In addition to the three above, it is also important to note that Ryan Free, the Georgia Men’s Intermediate WB competitor, actually bumped to the Advanced division after his first round.  He was the only competitor from Georgia to bump to a higher division at the USC which is quite an accomplishment!  Ryan finished 5th overall in Advanced and was recognized for his outstanding performance during the awards ceremony Saturday night.
