Long Lake – League Championships Recap

Thanks to the participants, sponsors, volunteers and WA State Parks for helping to make this an outstanding, fun, and safe event. We had 31 total riders across all of the disciplines, with several participating in their first event, including our youngest rider at the age of 4!

The Slalom group battled some fierce head/tail wind and chop conditions on Saturday, though conditions settled enough on Sunday that a few personal bests were set. Yes it felt like a long way from the protected waters of Sun Basin!  The Wake guys had an amazing Saturday afternoon, as the weather conditions settled allowing for a little better water conditions. The viewing was great from the shore and swim area – the audience was rewarded with Braden’s “Crowd Pleaser”, Bryce’s Superman imitation and some amazing air on the double ups from all the riders.  We wrapped up Sunday afternoon with our first Wake Surf event – 9 riders plus extras filled the boat – an absolutely perfect way to cap the weekend and our first season. Definitely will be a mainstay at our future events.

A great Inaugural year – we are looking forward to next year, Thank you!
Do not have enough riding in yet? There is more – two events remain on the calendar – August 23-24 is the WA State INT Championships at Koppert and then INT Western Regionals are September 19-20 in Lago Del Sol in California. We will get more information out on these events in the next couple of days.

Sun Basin Recap

We had a great weekend at Sun Basin, 60 total riders, 10 from the Inland Northwest League. These 10 riders though brought home 4 Firsts, 1 Second and 2 Thirds – all in very competitive and deep divisions – so Great Skiing everyone. We also saw lots of people ski out of their divisions into the next ones by running full passes, setting personal and tournament bests. We will get scores and pictures up in the next 24 hours.

We really appreciate everyone that came out to ride, both for their participation as well as help in the boats and on the dock creating a great event.

Hauser Lake Recap

We kicked off our inaugural season July 11-13 at Hauser Lake with wake and ski events. The weather was hot and the water smooth leading to some outstanding performances.
