Wisdom Lake is a 55-acre private residential water-ski subdivision. It is comprised of eleven spectacular home sites with expansive lake frontage. This neighborhood offers private pursuits of pleasure and panoramas of a park-like setting. Whether taking a competitive run on the water-ski course or a leisurely stroll down the nature trail, residents will find enjoyment immediately outside their door.
Located near the I-74 and HWY 421 (Exit 132) at Greensburg, Indiana. Wisdom Lake is within one-hour commute to Indianapolis and Cincinnati, and a half-hour commutes to Columbus, Indiana. Wisdom Lake is only a few minutes from dining, entertainment and shopping.
Directions: Wisdom Lake is located on the North side of Interstate 74 across from the Greensburg water tower and the new Honda Plant.
From Indianapolis: Take I 74 East to the first Greensburg exit Hwy 421 South. The off ramp will “T”. At that intersection turn right and travel north on Old HWY 421 North. Travel north until you pass the Honda plant and go under the bridge. Once you pass under the bridge turn left towards the Honda plant and that road will take you over the interstate. As soon as you cross the interstate turn left and then the road will “T” into the frontage road. Turn right and you will dead-end into Wisdom Lake.
Kokomo Water Ski Club is located in Kokomo IN at 200 South County Road 440 W, Kokomo, IN 46901. The club consists of 15 families that all share the common interest of waterskiing. The skill level within the club varies from beginner to advanced with a wide range of ages. Many of the club members drive almost an hour to enjoy the quiet atmosphere and great ski water that is provided. The unique horse shoe shaped body of water allows for great fishing & water skiing. The main body of water is 40-80′ deep. The site is very primitive with no electricity or running water available. Spectators can enjoy a great view and catch some shade under the picnic pavilion
Silver Bin Lake is a 3 event AWSA and wakeboard and water ski lake. It is located 8 miles east of Angola Indiana. Annual Memberships will be available for Individuals and Family’s starting in 2009. The main lake body is 20 feet deep and 2500 feet long. Spectators can enjoy a great view form any location.
The St. Joe River is the home site of the “Leo River Rats”. This location is located six miles north of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The river current makes for a very humbling skiing experience. Although there is no membership fee, the purchase of six gallons of 97 octane fuel is required.
