The INT Family Loses One of it’s Champions
Louisiana has lost one of it’s little up and coming riders. Valarie Hodges was a wakeboard ripper was from Baton Rouge, LA. The 10-year-old rode at INT stops in Texas and Arkansas last season. Representing team Texas, Valarie went on to INT US Championships to place on the podium in Jr. Entro. Valerie was an excellent student and a blessing to her family. She was a killer rider that will be missed. Valarie passed away on Sunday on the Amite rider where she was wakeboarding with her family. Please remember her family in your thoughts and prayers.
The family has set up accounts in her name at First Guaranty and Chase banks to help pay for funeral expenses.

INT Introduces Wakeboard Masters Open
INT is adding another dimension to their progressive program. In an effort to stay on the cutting edge of the wakeboard industry, INT is going to offer a new division for the distinguished rider with mad skills. “It is very simple, wakeboarding is no longer a new sport,” says an INT wakeboard committee representative. “Most of the outstanding riders back in the day are still outstanding riders, but are now over the age of 30. They might not necessarily be able to ride with the younger talent, but can still kick it with riders their own age.”
The new division is for riders over the age of 30 who are throwing advanced to outlaw level tricks. These are the guys who remember when wakeboards didn’t have twin tips and are still riding hard. This division is intended to give mature riders a forum in which they can compete against riders of their same high caliber without having to compete with the younger crew. For more information and official rules, check out the INT Insider and Rule Book.

New CWB Boards and Boots
Lotus
The most popular female wakeboard package has gotten a celebrity makeover for 2009. The Lotus is shaped with four deep molded fins that create a solid edge, and two detachable center fins for superior stability while discovering the basics. The design features a continuous rocker line that is quick and still provides a predictable pop while the girls are learning new tricks. We wrapped the Lotus with a gorgeous sparkling top graphic that can double as your prom dress! Accessorize with the matching Ember, Sage, or Bliss boots with Hinge Tech for awesome looking and riding wakeboard package! The Lotus comes in 131 cm length.
Sage
The Sage got a reality-show makeover from top to bottom for 2009. First we stamped the Sage with our new 6-Plate technology eliminating 25% of the total weight! Next, we flipped the Hinge upside-down into the Switch Hinge which creates zero heel lift for the aggressive female rider. We also added Gorilla Grips for easy entry and exit along with lyrca-lined toe and heels pieces. Finally, we dressed the Sage in a dazzling white leather fabric with violet and turquoise overtones. Match the Sage with the Lotus wakeboard and launch your own pilot reality TV show!
The Sage comes in small, medium and large, and fits a wide range of sizes within each boot. You can even share…. but you may not want to.
The 2009 Lotus and Sage are available as a package at CWB dealers everywhere. Buy them together and save $100.00.
