Sad News…

Dear KY INT League Members, Families and Friends,

Due to several reasons INT League regrettably announces that we will not be hosting any INT events in 2009 in Kentucky.

The economy seems to be having a tremendous impact on the watersports industry. KY INT League was unable to obtain any Local Sponsor Support for the 2009 Season, nor were we able to get any promo or dealer boats to pull the events.

Schedule conflicts with other watersports events in the area are another factor in this difficult decision to cancel our INT season. Kentucky INT set our tour schedule in January; unfortunately another watersports event promoter has thoughtlessly decided to host an event that conflicts with the INT schedule. Due to their promises of prize money at the other competition, we feel that this will lead to a lack of participation at our INT event, making it financially impossible to host our first tour stop.

We are very sorry to all the INT Members, families and friends. Keep riding, have fun and hopefully we will be able to return in 2010 with support from our local boat dealers, pro shops, and other sponsors.

Please be sure to stop by your local dealers and let them know how important they are to the INT League. INT desires to continue to host events where participants can have fun, improve, and ride behind great boats. For our local dealers, we hope that next year we can provide a tournament forum that you can proudly sponsor to promote your business and help the INT League grow grassroots waterskiing and wakeboarding.
