Battle on the Boarder Slalom and Wake Contest at Tug Lake

Seattle, WA (June 16, 2011)- This just in…The World Wakeboard Association announced today that not one, but Two Golden Tickets will be awarded at the upcoming event at Tug Lake June 25-26th. The Northwest INT League will host the sixth MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour qualifying event in Vancouver Washington next weekend. From Hutto, Texas (May 21, 2011) – The MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour and the World Wakeboard Association in conjunction with the INT League have just awarded the first golden ticket of 2011 to one of Texas’ top amateur wakeboarders, Hayden McEntire. The 1st stop of INT League Texas, held at Switch Frame Lake, gave the opportunity for riders of all ages and ability to get out on the water and compete in a fun and relaxed environment. McEntire was able to compete against the highest caliber of amateur wakeboarders in Texas at the first stop of the INT League Texas Tour. Texas INT League Coordinators, Patrick Illingworth and Shembra Adams were able to witness McEntire’s flawless victory in the pristine conditions. Seattle, Washington (May 11, 2011) – INT is excited to introduce the new wakesurf scoring format. Wakesurfing is relatively new to the water sports community, but it’s popularity is growing rapidly on lakes across the country. Wakesurfing can be done behind any wakeboard boat by putting all of the ballast on one side of the boat and surfing in the curl right behind the swim plat form.

INT and our partners have been working on this project for over a year now to create a format that can be used at any event, for riders of any level. There are divisions for riders who are still learning how to let go of the rope, all the way up to Open Skim and Open Surf. Read More »
