2011 Season Schedule

Stops 1 & 2 – June 4th-5th  Lake Hartwell, Singing Pines Recreation Area - Starr – Wake/Skate/Knee - 1 Round each day – 9 a.m. start time

Stops 3 & 4 – June 25th-26th  Lake Flumi – Spartanburg – Slalom Only – 2 Rounds each day – 9 a.m. start time

Stops 5 & 6 - July 23rd & 24th  Grand Harbor - Lake Greenwood - Wake/Skate/Knee - 2 Rounds each day – 9 a.m. start time.  Poolside restaurant will be open serving Hot Dogs and Hamburgers.  Cash only.

Stops 7 & 8 - August 6th & 7th  Gunnell’s Lake – Greenwood - Slalom Only - 2 Rounds each day – 9 a.m. start time    

Stop 9 – August 13th  Devil’s Fork Lake – Anderson – Full Event – 1 Round Only  -9 a.m. start time – State Finals

September 1st-3rd -  EASTERN REGIONALS, Coble’s Ski School, Lillington, NC

Accommodations and Directions to  – Sites

Singing Pines Recreation Area – Take I-85 to Exit 14.  Head east on Hwy 187.  At the first traffic light turn left, still on Hwy 187.  Go approximately 2-3 miles and turn right toward Sadler’s Creek State Park, staying on Hwy 187 for about 8 miles.  At the four way intersection turn right onto Hwy 29 south.  About 2.4 miles take slight right into Singing Pines Recreation Center.  (There may be an entrance fee into the park.)  Same accommodations as Devil’s Fork Lake, see below.

Lake Flumi – I26 east, take Exit 28 (South of Spartanburg). Take Hwy 221 toward Roebuck. Take first right, Stillhouse Road. Drive until this tees into Otts Shoals Rd. Turn right, go a short distance and turn left onto Harrison Grove Rd. This will tee into Walnut Grove Rd. Turn left and then take your first right which will be West Rd. Pond is on the right. Nearby Hotels – Sleep Inn 864.595.4040, Holiday Inn 864.699.7777, Hampton Inn 864.699.2222

Grand Harbor – From Greenville take 25 South toward Greenwood for about 33 miles.  Turn slight left onto Cokesbury Rd.  Travel about 1 mile and take 1st left onto 246 South.  246 South becomes 702 South.  Turn left onto Frazier Rd.  Turn right onto Grand Harbor Dr.  Stay straight onto Grand Harbor Blvd.  Same accommodations as Gunnell’s Lake.   (Directions take from Mapquest.com)

Gunnell’s Lake - Take Hwy I-26 east, exit onto Hwy 34 and continue through Newberry. Turn right on Hwy 702, take the first road on the left which is Island Ford Rd. Turn left on first gravel road with Block wall. (Island Ford Road is directly across from entrance to Greenwood State Park.) Devil’s Fork Lake - Take I-85 to Exit 14. Head east on Hwy 187. At the first traffic light turn left, still on Hwy 187. Go approximately 2-3 miles and turn right toward Sadler’s Creek State Park, staying on Hwy 187. Travel approximately 5-6 miles and turn left onto Huitt Rd. Turn right into the farm gate in about 1/4 mile. Nearby Hotels: Hampton Inn 864.375.1990, Jameson Inn 864.375.9800.

What to Bring

INT will provide the boats and a protected or private waterway for competition. Please bring your ski or board and a life jacket. You can bring your own handle for slalom or rope and handle for wakeboarding, although one will be provided for you if you don’t have one.
