WSIA Recognizes INT for 20 Years of Great Events

Steamboat Spring, Colorado (March, 6 2013)- Tonight Larry Meddock, the executive director of the Water Sport Industry Association recognized Rick Stocks, founder of the INT League for his 20 years of service hosting grassroots water sports competitions. The WSIA helped Stocks and his family launch the INT League with a $10,000 grant in 1993 at a WSIA board meeting in Seattle. With their support Stocks went on to train event coordinators and host fun, family friendly events all over the country.

Twenty years later, the association has come together at the Summit in the Snow in Steamboat Springs, CO, where the leaders of the water sports industry gather to think tank and develop business skills. Meddock and industry friends raised a toast at tonight’s dinner to commemorate INT’s accomplishment. Through the combined efforts of the WSIA and sponsors, the INT League is able to produce, promote and  grow amateur waterski, wakeboard, wakeskate, wake surf and kneeboard events nationwide.
